This soft sculpture is a tribute to well-loved flavors in a home kitchen. Conceptualized by lead artist Rosa Zerrudo, the textile pages look into the culinary terms in the city’s mother tongue such as names of fish, some ingredients, and tastes.

It is rendered in handwoven hablon and natural dyes. As like most of Rosa’s creative projects, this piece follows process-based participatory artmaking with women behind bars. As a collaborative piece, it symbolizes gentle inner-power and resilience.
